Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy is provided in English. It is governed by Finnish law.
1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all users of the FlowDial service operated by Axiora Labs Oy (Business ID 3605198-5). This Policy supplements the FlowDial Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. In the event of conflict, the Terms of Service prevail.
2. Permitted use
The FlowDial service may be used only for lawful B2B purposes. Permitted use cases include:
- Sales prospecting: Identifying potential corporate customers and decision makers
- Market research: Industry, competitive, and market analysis
- Investment target identification: Evaluating financial data and growth potential
- Recruitment targeting: Identifying target companies for recruitment
- Partnership development: Identifying potential partners and subcontractors
3. Prohibited use
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
3.1 Communication and outreach
- Sending bulk spam or unsolicited mass messages without a lawful basis
- Contacting individuals who have exercised their right to object (GDPR Art. 21)
- Consumer marketing (B2C) — the service is intended for B2B use only
- Automated mass outreach without human review and judgement
3.2 Data handling
- Reselling, republishing, or sharing data with third parties
- Building a competing database or service using FlowDial data
- Automated data collection (scraping) or bulk downloading without written permission
- Combining data in ways that infringe privacy rights
- Reverse engineering FlowDial's platform, algorithms, or database structure
3.3 Discrimination and surveillance
- Discriminatory use in recruitment, lending, housing, or other decisions in violation of applicable law
- Surveillance, espionage, tracking, or harassment of individuals
- Use of data for coercion, blackmail, or threats
3.4 Technical restrictions
- Overloading the service or interfering with its operation
- Circumventing or testing security measures without permission
- Using the service for any activity in violation of law or regulation
4. Customer obligations
As a user of the FlowDial service, you have the following obligations:
4.1 Lawful basis for processing
You must have a lawful basis (e.g. legitimate interest or consent) before contacting individuals discovered via FlowDial. The mere availability of data in the service does not establish a right to contact anyone.
4.2 Honouring objections
If a data subject asks you to stop contacting them or exercises their right to object, you must comply immediately. Notify us at [email protected] so we can update our database.
4.3 Your own GDPR compliance
When you export data from FlowDial, you act as an independent data controller. You must maintain your own privacy notice, respond to data-subject requests, and comply with the GDPR and other applicable data-protection laws.
4.4 Purpose limitation
Use exported data only for the purpose for which it was exported. Do not combine it with other data sources in a way that changes the original processing purpose without an appropriate lawful basis.
5. Data-handling obligations
- Storage limitation: Do not retain personal data exported from the service longer than the processing purpose requires. Delete outdated data regularly.
- Information security: Apply appropriate technical and organisational safeguards (e.g. access controls, encryption) to exported data.
- Data breaches: If exported data is subject to a security breach, notify us promptly at [email protected].
- International transfers: Do not transfer data outside the EU/EEA without appropriate transfer mechanisms under Chapter V of the GDPR.
- After termination: When the service agreement ends, the customer agrees to cease active use of personal data exported from FlowDial within a reasonable time (recommended: 6 months). The customer remains responsible for GDPR-compliant retention of exported data.
6. Consequences
Violation of this Policy may result in:
- Warning: A written notice of the violation and request for remediation
- Account suspension: Temporary access restriction during investigation
- Account termination: Permanent revocation of access in serious or repeated cases
- Indemnity: The user is liable for damages caused to Axiora Labs Oy and to third parties by activity in breach of this Policy
Axiora Labs Oy reserves the right to monitor use of the service to detect and prevent abuse.
